Dear friends

I have just returned from a lovely weekend trip to Vancouver Island. It was mainly Victoria, my second time and very nice. I will show you the pix soon but, as I got some comments on it ;-), I am also working here and quite a bit. So I will start with some university pics if you like...

during my lecture of Educational Psychology

at times we have to work in this weather...

Well, I didn't take any pictures during exams, so this should do for now. Next pics will be more fun again. :-)

Thank you Annegret, it was a great time with you around :-) Alles Liebe!

Back in Vancouver

I am doing two today as I am so behind and have some time left. After we returned from our Circle Route we moved into residence. We bought a camping bed, which Annegret said is quite comfortable. I hope so. And we spent some more time in Vancouver itself.

partly in very good weather

Circle Trip II

Studying keeps me away from taking care of my blog, but not only. It's really fun around and there are so many people making me have a good time. :-)

Wanna see some more pix? Here we go:

German bakery in Lilloet, haven't found one any nearer yet...

our circle tour of BC

Fraser River

LOL

Hell's gate (see the tiny house down there?)

cable car there

well ... :-D

a long, long train

our second motel: Swiss Chalet in Hope

a view of European flags, though I'm not sure they had the swiss one, lol

near Hope we took a lovely walk, partly through dark train tunnels, which are out of use now (fortunately)

a very romantic walk, too at least in the right company; we saw some couples appearing to be on their first date :-)

Hope itself, not very spectacular

last day, a trip to Manning Park

cold up there

witch's hair?

and a bit of Indian summer on our way back
