Recovering slowly

Okay, my students wrote their exam but that was about it outside my townhouse today. And now we even have more snow on the mountain. Campus is closed again (no late classes, well I had none today...) and buses are not running again. There have been several accidents on the way to and from SFU. So better stay home anyways... Luckily I didn't go down to get some food or medicine today. I got some food on campus, but no way to get medicine here, no pharmacy. That's a real problem! Well, luckily I still have some and even cough sirup now. Which is supposed to help me getting my voice back. What a real Canadian experience again! Apart from the snow and traffic situation. Around Greater Vancouver they have no clue how to deal with snow and ice, most cars don't even have winter tires. (And if you ask the rental agencies about it, they laugh at you...) Well, we experience at least once a week what that leads to... I am happy that I am in residence now and not freezing my b... off somewhere... One of my neighbours walked up here today (about 1 hour when you find the way).
