I am back on my university mountain and was stuck again the other day... well, at times you should not leave after 9pm as it seems. Well, they cleared the roads and after midnight we were back here. And the snow here was nothing compared to Québec, it was amazing. A real Canadian winter, although I was told from reliable sources that -23°C can well be topped by Alberta, the Prairies and not to speak of the Northern Territories... I don't necessarily wanna experience that though. ;-)

I visited my housemate Valérie and her family and friends. They were wonderful hosts. Merci beaucoup! And I had the opportunity to practise some French as some did not speak a lot of English. Well, if you have to, you can... :-)

Next day we went off to Québec City, which is quite a way from Montréal (around 300 km). Well, it's still Canada although it appeared so French.
